Mood and Theme
In the world, there are things that cannot be controlled or fought. There are things that sweep through a place and can only be reacted to, not eliminated. The hurricane, when it sweeps through a land, cannot be stopped. All that can be done is to react to it – to help those who are in its way, to get out of its way, to try to profit from it.
The theme of the game, then, is how characters respond to events such as will occur.

General Notes
The point of this game is to have fun and build stories around the player characters. While it is the staff’s hope that the plot and the roleplaying around such will be engaging and interesting, the staff would like to encourage anyone who finds themselves having trouble getting involved to talk to one of the STs or narrators at the event.
Venue Rules
Totems – For a pack’s totem to be present, a copy of the totem’s sheet must be checked in with one of the PCs in the pack. Please note that a single ST on the floor will be designated as the ST in charge of all Totem interactions – that ST will be announced at the start of each session of game.
Fetishes – All custom fetishes must be checked in with the approval number associated with it, including low approval custom fetishes. The full mechanics for all fetishes (custom or not) must be in the player’s possession during the event, if they wish to use that fetish. Any high approval or above fetish (custom or not) must be checked in with the lead ST by June 1, 2009. This check-in email must contain the point breakdown of the fetish.
Rites – Check-in rules as per universal addendum. The full mechanics for any custom ritual must be in the player’s possession during the event, if they wish to use that ritual.
Gifts – Check-in rules as per universal addendum. The full mechanics for any custom Gift must be in the player’s possession during the event, if they wish to use them.
Talens – All talens must be listed on the character’s sheet. Characters are limited to a number of Talens equal to their Harmony.
Essence – All characters start with full Essence. For characters with Essence bleed, subtract the amount of bleed for one full day (for characters with Primal Urge 8, this is 2 Essence) from starting Essence and then lose Essence as appropriate through the course of the game. (AKA, a character with Primal Urge 9 will start with 47 Essence and will lose an additional Essence every 8 hours of game time).
Silver Weapons – As per the Universal VSS, these require prior approval.

See the Universal Addendum. Please note that custom fetishes are an exception to the rule that approvals mid or higher must be listed on the sheet – every custom fetish must have an approval number associated with it.
Play Style Identification
See Universal VSS. The Forsaken ST staff will attempt to honor color-coding, but will warn that color-coding will not be a shield against consequences.
